The Peggy Ball

The Peggy Ball, which is sponsored by White Star Charters, The K-Club, Goldstar Chaueffers, Plantronics, NextGen and many more is a black tie, charity ball designed to help raise both money and awareness for the The Peggy Mangan Foundation, and takes place on October 18th, 2014.

We've continued our efforts since revising our target upwards to €50,000. This is the annual costs of running and maintaining the "Mobile Outreach Unit" (or dementia bus) So how are we doing? Well, we've now raised €30,800, so we're now at 61.6% of our target! Thanks to everyone who has helped us raised these funds to date!

Having had a successful fundraising in reaching our initial target of €20,000, we've continued our fundraising and set our sites on the €50,000 needed to fund the 'Mobile Outreach Unit' for an entire year!

Meeting with An Taoiseach and Minister for Justice

On Thursday 13th February, we met with the Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the Minister for Justice and Defence, Alan Shatter. Over the last few months, we have spoken to many different persons and groups who have experienced the trauma of missing persons.

A Walk for Peggy and Casper to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s and missing persons

In honour of Peggy and Casper, and to raise awareness and funds for alzheimers and missing persons, we're walking the same route that Peggy and Casper walked on September 24th. We'll be walking from Mount Jerome in Harold's Cross to Ikea in Ballymun. We're looking for as much participation and help as possible in helping to raise funds and awareness.
