A Walk for Peggy and Casper to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s and missing persons

Published on 02 December 13

On Tuesday 24th September 2013, Peggy left her home on Mount Tallant Avenue and went out for one of many walks she took each day with her beloved Cavalier King Charles Casper. Peggy never returned home. Her body was located beside Ikea on Saturday 28th September by a group of volunteers that had joined the search. Casper, Peggys loyal companion stayed with Peggy and died with hours of her body being located.

In honour of Peggy and Casper, and to raise awareness and funds for alzheimers and missing persons, we're walking the same route that Peggy and Casper walked on that fateful day. On December 14th, 2013, we'll be walking from Mount Jerome in Harold's Cross to Ikea in Ballymun. We're looking for as much participation and help as possible in helping to raise funds and awareness.

If you can't make the walk, you can still help my making a donation, details of which can be found on our donation page.

We look forward to seeing you on they day and we'd like to thank you in advance for all your help and support.
