The Peggy Ball

The Peggy Ball which is sponsored by White Star Charters, The K-Club, Goldstar Chaueffers, Plantronics, NextGen and many more is designed to help raise both money and awareness for the foundation.
The money raised will go directly towards the production of a mobile outreach unit – or ‘dementia bus’ which will be ran by members of Alzheimer’s Ireland. This will provide an information and support service to people with dementia and their families in their local communities. Our aim is to make sure no-one faces Dementia alone.
One area that the Peggy Mangan Foundation wants to do more research into is around the availability and success of tracking devices for elderly or vulnerable persons Patients who have dementia suffer extreme memory deficiencies, which ultimately results in them wandering and becoming lost.
The Peggy Ball is a black tie Gala Charity event on 18th October 2014 at the Aviva Stadium. The night will be hosted by famous comedian Steve Cummins and will consist of an hour drinks reception, a stunning 3 course meal with wine, a live auction that will get the blood pumping and full entertainment throughout.
The way you can help us raise our goals and help fight Alzheimer’s is to get a table to the Peggy Ball, Donate a prize or even sponsor the event itself. Become active in the auction on the evening which includes playing a round of golf with 4 friends at the fabulous K Club or getting chauffeured around Dublin for a day in a fantastic S-Series Mercedes or even a Charter on a stunning luxury super yacht for up to 11 people worth northwards of €25,000.

Before the event

During the event
A 30 second video will be displayed on a huge screen on the Aviva pitch with direct line of sight to all attendees throughout the 1 hour drinks reception
A continual still display rotating throughout 3 screens during the rest of the evening on the screens provided at the event.
After the event
